Who should consult Dr. Chirag Chamria?
Patients who need oral surgery, dental implants (including complex or zygomatic implants), same-day fixed teeth, jaw surgery, or oral cancer rehabilitation. If you have been told that you lack bone, need extensive grafting, or are not a candidate for implants elsewhere, a specialist evaluation may offer different options.
Do I need scans or reports before my first visit?
It helps to bring any existing X-rays, CT scans, or medical reports. If you don't have them, a CBCT scan can be done at the clinic as part of your consultation (included in the consultation fee of ₹1,500).
Is virtual consultation available?
Yes. Virtual consultations are available for patients who live outside Mumbai or prefer an initial discussion before visiting in person. You can share your reports and scans digitally, and receive a preliminary assessment and recommendation.
Am I a candidate for same-day fixed teeth?
Many patients with multiple missing or failing teeth are candidates. Candidacy depends on bone density, overall health, and specific clinical factors — all of which are assessed during your consultation with CBCT imaging.
What are zygomatic implants, and who needs them?
Zygomatic implants are longer implants that anchor into the cheekbone (zygoma) instead of the jawbone. They are used when the upper jaw has insufficient bone for conventional implants, avoiding the need for bone grafting. They are particularly helpful for patients who have been told implants are impossible due to bone loss.
